Job Title: Cloud Engineer

Department Name: IS Systems Engineering

You will collaborate with stakeholders providing second and thirdlevel support ensuring SLAs and KPIs are met. The role demands expertise in cloud networking storage and compute encompassing both cloudnative and cloudhosted services. The Cloud Engineer will emphasize reliability and resiliency enhancing service levels with automation monitoring and alerting tools.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

Key areas of responsibility

Architect deploy and maintain hybrid multicloud environment (IaaS PaaS etc.) considering performance uptime security scalability cost optimization and business continuity.

Develop deploy and maintain monitoring orchestration automation and configuration management tools aligning with DevSecOps strategy.

Execute daytoday cloud infrastructure operational tasks including monitoring metrics responding to alerts and troubleshooting covering Cloud to onprem system issues.

Document infrastructure design technical procedures operations manuals and best practice guidance.

Educate and mentor on Cloud technologies defining and enforcing best practices based on business unit requirements

REQUIREMENTS AND SPECIFICATIONS

Preferred Requirements:

Education: Bachelors degree in computer science Information Technology or related field.

Experience:

5 years in cloud computing specifically with Google Cloud Platform.

610 years of core systems engineering.

Additional skills in Terraform and experience with specific thirdparty tools.

Licensure Certification Registration:

Minimum: Professional Cloud Technical certification (Azure AWS or GCP)

Preferred:

Professional Cloud Advanced Technical certification (Azure AWS or GCP)

VMware Certified Advanced Professional (VCAP)

Microsoft MCSE Server 2016

Language Skills:

English
