MustHaves:

1. Associate degree from an accredited professional nursing school Required.
2. Certifications: ACLS required upon hire.
3. Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) required upon hire.
4. Arizona Registered Nurse and/or Compact State Registered Nurse Required.

NiceToHaves:

1. ASPAN Certification preferred.
2. Bachelors degree preferred.
3. NIH stroke certification preferred.
4. 3 years experience in PACU/ACU.

Position Summary:
The PACU/ASU Registered Nurse promotes and restores patients health by completing the nursing process of assessment planning implementation and evaluation of nursing care for pre and postoperative patients recovering from general local and regional anesthesia based upon age specific and cultural needs.
