SENIOR ANALYTICS MANAGER at 2PERFORMANT

As Senior Analytics Manager you will be in charge of coordinating and implementing the companys core analytics projects and their outcomes in the business. This involves working closely with the data analytics team members for project delivery (both handson and through others) as well as with all business functions involved in the process of defining analytical project objectives technical specs and expected outcomes. The role contributes to the teams knowledge and results growth through senior expertise in technical areas of data analysis data transformation and reporting as well as through peer review of performance across the team and management of the analytical projects roadmap.

Tasks

• Define analytics projects and propose them to senior management manage the implementation of the planned projects roadmap
• Build develop and maintain data models for reports dashboards and performance metrics that support key business decisions
• Support statistical analysis / data science projects relevant to business requirements
• Embed / integrate Business League competition approach into existing business reporting architecture
• Collaborate with business on implementing relevant measurements and product tracking tools to derive business and product insights
• Support datadriven culture support the organization in conducting data analytics and using the data artifacts

Requirements

• 4 years in SQL querying with advanced SQL skills (Window Functions DML/DDL creating UDFs etc)
• 4 years in Data Modeling combining data across multiple systems in data models used for analytic and reporting purposes
• 4 years working with Data Visualization tools such as Tableau Power BI Looker or similar technologies
• 2 years in project management roles
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Adaptability and orientation towards team success
• Autonomy and strong organizational abilities
• Excellent problemsolving abilities
• Ability to explain technical concepts in simple words to business partners It would be a plus
• Experience with Google BigQuery and dbt specifically
• Background in ecommerce / affiliate marketing / digital marketing analytics

First 3 months

• Be able to explain the business model of 2Performant and its main business KPIs
• Identify key areas for data analytics developments and team knowledge development as well as best practices

First 6 months

• Initiate and complete at least two major data analytics projects (data transformation / reporting / statistical data analysis)

First year

• Successfully manage the companys analytics projects and yearly projects roadmap implementation
• Evaluate the growth needs and opportunities of the analytics function plan and propose future implementations for function growth over the medium term
