Hiring for Java Developer with SQL and Big data at Austin TX Full time

Technical/Functional Skills

Expert level experience with Java or equivalent objectoriented languages.

5 years experience in crafting implementing and supporting highly scalable backend applications.

5 years experience with Oracle SQL or other relational database and data modeling as well as NoSQL & big data technologies like Cassandra Solr Kafka and Hadoop.

A deep understanding of HTTP and REST APIs.

Ability to design and establish coding patterns/standards across multiple code repositories.

Proven track record to rearchitect an expansive code base while transitioning to new technologies/frameworks.

Experience with container orchestration frameworks (eg. Kubernetes) preferred.

Experience with Rust preferred

Shown grasp of multithreaded programming concepts.
