Operational Excellence Manager

Our client a wellestablished manufacturing company with a rich history dating back to the 1950s is seeking an Operational Excellence Manager to join their team. This role will be instrumental in driving improvement initiatives across all facets of the business focusing on safety quality and timely delivery. Upholding the value of Respect for People the chosen candidate will be a pivotal figure in fostering a culture of engagement and trust while working closely with teammates customers and stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities:

• Champion a strong safety culture by fostering engagement and trust while minimizing risk
• Develop implement and monitor safety protocols and procedures to ensure compliance and employee wellbeing
• Lead a comprehensive ERP upgrade and optimization project to enhance data collection and utilization through the current Infor Syteline ERP System
• Establish and manage a robust Sales and Operations Planning (S&OP) process to ensure optimal service levels and ontime delivery
• Drive crossfunctional collaboration through value stream management identifying and addressing improvement opportunities from customer request for quote (RFQ) to cash receipt
• Identify training needs and develop/deliver training programs to enhance employee skills and capabilities
• Provide mentorship and coaching to employees on operational excellence and Lean principles

• Bachelors degree in Engineering Operations Management or related field
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in Lean methodologies continuous improvement and ERP systems within a manufacturing environment
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to collaborate effectively across diverse teams
• Commercial acumen and a proactive approach to identifying opportunities for operational enhancement
• Ambitious and driven with a clear trajectory towards career advancement and increased responsibilities
