Head Quality

1. Position Overview:

We are seeking a dynamic highly motivated passionate energetic detailed oriented and experienced Quality Head to join our team. The Quality Head will be responsible for ensuring that our fabrication assembly and packaging processes meet the highest standards of quality and compliance with industry regulations.

This role will involve leading a team to develop and implement quality control procedures conducting inspections analysing data managing team implementation of IMS Kaizen and other quality tools and collaborating with crossfunctional teams to drive continuous improvement in our operations.

2. Key Responsibilities:

1. Quality Control:

1. Develop implement and maintain quality control procedures for all fabrication processes.

2. Conduct regular inspections and audits to ensure compliance with quality standards and specifications.

3. Identify areas for improvement and develop action plans to address quality issues.

2. Supplier Quality Management:

1. Collaborate with procurement teams to establish quality requirements for suppliers.

2. Conduct supplier audits and evaluations to ensure compliance with quality standards.

3. Work with suppliers to resolve quality issues and improve performance.

4. Process Improvement:

1. Analyse data from quality inspections and audits to identify trends and opportunities for process improvement.

2. Develop and implement corrective and preventive actions to address root causes of quality issues.

3. Lead crossfunctional teams in process improvement initiatives such as Lean Six Sigma projects.

4. Training and Development:

1. Provide training and guidance to employees on quality control procedures and best practices.

2. Foster a culture of quality and continuous improvement throughout the organization.

5. Documentation and Reporting:

1. Maintain accurate records of quality control activities including inspection reports nonconformance reports and corrective action plans.

2. Prepare regular reports on quality performance metrics for management review.

3. Qualifications and Requirements:

1. BE Mechanical.

2. Total experience of 1820 years in quality management in the fabrication industry.

3. A minimum of 5 years of experience as a teamleaders is must.

4. Experience as a MR (ISO Standard) for 5 years will have an added advantage.

5. Sound knowledge and experience of fabrication processes such as Welding rolling machining cutting drilling blasting and painting related to Oil and Gas industry.

6. Sound knowledge and experience of assembly/packaging/manufacturing of Skids Pressure vessel parts heavy fabrication and piping and shall have exposure to Piping Design.

7. Sound knowledge and experience of Section VIII and the overall ASME code EN code IBR code CE Marking

8. Sound knowledge of quality management principles and techniques including ISO standards Kaizen Six Sigma etc.

9. Experience with quality control tools and methodologies such as statistical process control (SPC) FMEA and root cause analysis.

10. Proven track record of driving process improvement initiatives and achieving measurable results.

11. Certification in quality management (e.g. Six Sigma Black Belt Kaizen) is a plus.
