EXPERIENCED PACU/Phase I Recovery RN NEEDED. EPIC EXPERIENCE with Optime platform HIGHLY DESIRABLE.

Candidates with current or very recent PACU adult and pediatric recovery room experience OR recent adult critical care experience in complex setting required. We are currently utilizing 5 bays within an 8 bay PACU with a high acuity patient population. This unit sees all types of PACU cases including general surgery pediatric ent/dentals gynecological orthopedics podiatry. The RN will care for patients with vasoactive drips ventilators reintubations hemodynamically unstable patients and fresh post operative patients of all listed above. Pediatric patients are seen twice weekly. RNs discharge patients home from PACU in the evening hours. Floating off unit is not regularly expected but may occur.

Shift: Monday Friday 8 hr. day shifts with variable start/end times depending on their Call schedule. Call is included 1 day a week and every 5th weekend when fully staffed. 30minute response maximum required.
