75 MILE STRAIGHT LINE RADIUS RULE (not driving distance) NO LOCAL TRAVELERS Please only submit candidates that area aware of their submission to our facility. Please do not allow candidates to contact facility. Please only submit candidates with an active NM or compact license. Please note time off requests must be disclosed with initial submission to be considered for approval. Time off requested after the acceptance date will not be approved. When submitting candidates include at least two references (one must be from current manager) a resume and completed skills checklist/competency assessment. 2 years experience current required in an 18 plus bed telemetry/progressive care unit required. Must be a team player flexible and accustomed to fast paced environment. Must have successfully completed at least one 13week travel assignment. CERTIFICATIONS: BLS ACLS and NIHSS certifications required. BLS and ACLS must be completed through American Heart Association American Health and Safety or American Red Cross. EPIC EMR experience preferred. Traveler must pass the BCA (basic cardiac arrhythmia) testing during first week of assignment. Travelers that do not pass the BCA test will be dismissed.SHIFTS: 12 hour NIGHT shift position start time 1900. Must be comfortable with a 5:1 ratio. Shifts may fluctuate to fulfill department staffing needs. On call weekends and holidays may be required. Travelers are first to float within facility and to alternate locations within 20 miles of permanent assigned location. Traveling pairs are not guaranteed same schedules or same shifts. At alternate locationWill float to med/surg. Float all travelers within CDS are required to float to all areas in which they are trained including ED and alternate holding areas to care for appropriate patients. This includes PresNow ED/UCsORIENTATION: 1ST week of the contract not to exceed 40 total hours and includes EPIC training. SCRUBS: For RNs ONLY (does not apply to OR as those are provided) RNs may wear ANY solid color. The scrub top pant and jacket (if worn) must be the same solid color to match.
