UIUX Designer Unpaid Internship

Overview:

Key Responsibilities:

• Create wireframes storyboards user flows and process flows to effectively communicate interaction and design ideas
• Conduct user research and evaluate user feedback
• Collaborate with the development team to define and implement innovative solutions for the product direction visuals and experience
• Execute visual design stages from concept to final handoff to development
• Present and defend designs and key milestone deliverables to peers and executive level stakeholders
• Establish and promote design guidelines best practices and standards
• Conduct layout adjustments based on user feedback
• Adhere to style standards on fonts colors and images
• Contribute to the development of the companys design culture and quality standards
• Keep abreast of industry trends and best practices in UI/UX design

Required Qualifications:

• Enrollment in or recent completion of a degree in graphic design web design or related field
• Demonstrable UI/UX design skills with a strong portfolio
• Proficiency in design and prototyping tools such as Sketch Figma Adobe XD or similar
• Understanding of basic frontend languages: HTML5 CSS3 and JavaScript
• Ability to work in a fastpaced environment and meet project deadlines
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills
• Knowledge of usability principles and techniques
• Experience conducting user research and creating user personas
• Familiarity with responsive design and mobile application design
• Basic understanding of agile methodology and iterative design processes
