Job Description:

The Business Analyst is responsible for understanding and documenting business needs analyzing processes and translating requirements into actionable recommendations. Working closely with stakeholders this role involves defining and documenting system requirements for new implementations and enhancements. Responsibilities include leading requirements gathering and design sessions reviewing design documentation preparing process and data models coordinating pilot and test activities and designing screens and reports. The Business Analyst collaborates with stakeholders to identify improvement opportunities facilitates communication between business and technical teams and ensures successful project outcomes.

Job Duties:

• Collaborate with stakeholders to elicit document and analyze business requirements.
• Analyze existing business processes to identify inefficiencies gaps and areas for improvement.
• Propose solutions that enhance productivity reduce costs and align with strategic goals.
• Use system understanding to draft reports aiding business decisionmaking.
• Develop and conduct user training on system functionality.
• Lead activities during analysis design construction and testing phases of large scope projects.
• Translate business requirements into technical specifications and validate proposed solutions.
• Create clear and comprehensive requirement documents including functional specifications use cases user stories and process flows.
• Prioritize system and data functionality requirements based on user needs business analysis and project constraints.
• Coordinate pilot and rollout planning user enhancement requests and defect tracking for large scope projects.

Qualifications:

1. Seven years experience as a business analyst in an information technology environment.
2. Recognized as a Subject Matter Expert (SME) in systems supported.
3. Experience in data and process modeling of business requirements and use of process modeling tools.
4. Knowledge of the systems development life cycle.
5. Exposure to client/server web and/or mobile development.
6. Excellent verbal written and interpersonal communication skills.
7. Ability to effectively communicate with all levels within the organization.
8. Demonstrated decisionmaking analytical and problemsolving skills.
9. Effective time management and organization skills with the ability to handle multiple large projects.
10. Strong facilitation skills.
11. Experience using software applications such as Microsoft PowerPoint Word Excel and Visio.
12. Business Analyst plays a crucial role in ensuring that technology solutions align with business goals and deliver tangible value to the organization. The role requires a combination of technical understanding business acumen and effective communication skills.
13. Nice to have experience working with data analytics tools reports and dashboards.
