How a Linux System Administrator Will Make an Impact:

Receives logs assigns and follows up on customer incidents until resolved.

Provides initial enduser troubleshooting and escalates to systems administrators and applications team when required.

Applies basic diagnostic techniques to identify problems investigate causes and recommend solutions.

Identify investigate resolve and followup problems brought to the helpdesk by users of cloud infrastructure.

Maintains current knowledge of relevant AWS technology as assigned.

Documents work for leadership and updates/creates Standard Operating Procedures.

What Youll Need to Succeed:

Education:

Masters degree: additional experience may be substituted for a bachelors degree.

Required Experience:

8 years of IT technical and customerfacing experience.

510 years of customerfacing experience in a help desk or client support position

Security certification

Required Technical Skills:

Working knowledge of Linux and Windows operating systems Oracle

Current Linux operating system certification or training

Security Clearance Level:

Active or Interim TopSecret Clearance

Fully adjudicated T5 clearance

Required Skills and Abilities:

Requires the ability to work in a collaborative environment to troubleshoot and resolve problems.

Preferred Skills:

Experience working remotely using AWS Cloud environment is preferred.

Navy personnel and modernization experience is preferred.

Working knowledge of Tableau and WSO2 applications is preferred.
