As Manager IMS Sales you will lead and manage Internal Media Services (IMS) by providing strategic leadership direction and management of advertising operations though maintaining the highest international standards of advertising at HIA and across Qatar Airways group media display assets and of customer service to advertisers to ensure that the sales targets are achieved. Achieve sales targets through existing and new business ensure outstanding end to end client service at Internal Media Services (IMS). Deliver annual advertising budget forecasts from sales in Qatar and the Middle East and in International markets and with significant direct advertisers directing and supported by the IMS sales operations and administrative staff. Travel internationally to promote activities of the business forge strong client relationships and drive new business through proactive sales social and physical networking at relevant industry conferences and events. Key Accountabilities include but are not limited to: Maintain detailed knowledge of new developments within global airport advertising markets and advise team on future procurement and capital expenditure requirements. Travel internationally to promote activities of the business and where appropriate to represent HIA media sales at relevant industry conferences. Interface directly with key external suppliers including marketing support companies together with senior level department heads within the wider operation including Operations Finance and Legal departments to constantly improve the media estate and offer to advertisers and grow profitability of ad sales to the HIA and Qatar Airways group. Introduce and maintain international procedures and standards of sales and sales strategies to achieve sales target. Work closely with airport authority HIA and QR Group teams to identify new media advertising channels including digital and static displays to grow the company portfolio. Work with worldclass consultants to plan recommend to endorse the allocation of the new advertising sites within all the Concourses to facilitate the HIA advertising expansion project. Manage the site production work from the vendors plan timelines and manage budgets with project plans to ensure projects are delivered on time and on budget. Set and agree business plans for current and future financial years including sales targets and overhead costs to ensure target achievement. Set and agree budgets for all internal and external cost centers including (but not limited to) internal recharges to other QR resources used salaries and incentive schemes and external marketing resources. Achieve targeted advertising sales from Qatar Middle East and international markets in line with defined IMS financial budget. Direct lead and manage Sales and operations team regarding initiatives and presentations to large Qatar Middle East and international agencies and advertisers to achieve sales and operational targets. Monitor the site production work from the vendors on daytoday ad campaign basis to ensure production activities are as per agreed budget timeline quality etc. Plan and organize personal sales strategy in order to maximize the return on time investment. Identify and assist with the development of new media opportunities and revenue streams e.g. inhouse production innovation and design to deliver new revenue streams to IMS. Manage liaise and contract with external resources to bring in external expertise as required to enhance the media estate and deliver incremental revenues. Ensure all costs are managed within budgets by reviewing quarterly cost/sales reports to ensure that yearend profit targets are achieved.Be part of an extraordinary story Your skills. Join us as we dare to achieve whats never been done before.QualificationsAbout youThe successful candidate will have the following qualifications and skills: High School / Vocational Qualification / Diploma plus minimum 9 years of relevant jobrelated experience; or Bachelor Degree or equivalent plus minimum 8 years of relevant jobrelated experience Skills and experience:Experience in Airport / OutofHome (OOH) media development along with relevant experience in business development in Airport Advertising industry in Middle East and other international markets. Experience in servicing and meeting high demand of media advertising clients. Proven track record of achieving highly ambitious media sales target of multimillion dollars per annum. Established strong relationship and rapport with network of media agencies in Qatar and GCC markets and/or International markets.
