Audit Manager

This is a remote position.

• Be the point of contact and proactively communicate with clients developing a detailed understanding of their business to determine how Client can best meet their needs
  
• Establish and maintain positive relationships with existing clients and contacts
  
• Effectively manage client concerns and complaints as appropriate
  
  Operations & Compliance:
• Manage the planning of (or complete) audit engagements by identifying risks to determine the audit strategy agreeing the timetable scheduling employees and negotiating fees
  
• Prepare and review business reports and management letters for client highlighting key issues and recommended actions
  
• Ensure engagements are managed and completed effectively by meeting deadlines within budget keeping the Audit Principal informed of any variances to the budget
  
• Ensure all audit files and completed in line with the Client Audit Methodology
  
• Ensure complex accounting issues are documented (and concluded) in line with relevant accounting / audit standards
  
• Maintain uptodate technical knowledge to ensure compliance with all statutory and relevant regulatory requirements
  

Requirements

• 5 or more years audit experience of which 3 years have been in professional services or a client service orientated capacity.
  
• Accounting degree or a related degree with a major in Accounting
  
• CA qualified or equivalent
  
• Team ManagementProject Management
  
• Experience working directly to partners
