Transportation Service Specialist

Job Description

• This role is accountable for performing daily outbound transportation tasks and carrier related communications for multiple Owens Corning manufacturing facilities creating solutions that are in the best interest of the customer and Owens Corning.
• The Transportation Service Specialist will assign daily freight to the Owens Corning carrier base to meet delivery dates of customer orders in a costeffective manner.
• They will also collaborate with Customers Carriers Manufacturing Facilities Customer Service Specialists Logistics Analyst Material Planners and other OC organizations as necessary to identify and troubleshoot issues to ultimately deliver our product ontime and damage free.
