Job Overview: As a Replenishment Systems Analyst you will be responsible for developing and maintaining programs to enhance the efficiency and effectiveness of the companys merchandise plans. Working closely with the Systems Manager you will play a vital role in ensuring system availability proposing system enhancements and providing user support. This is an exciting opportunity for individuals with a minimum of 2 years experience in structured programming and SQL programming within a retail environment.

Key Responsibilities:

1. System Availability:

   • Ensure the system performs to required standards and accurate data is maintained.
   • Monitor user activity and product performance providing support and escalating concerns when necessary.
   • Highlight potential risks and opportunities to the Planning Teams and propose initiatives.

2. System Enhancements:

   • Propose and implement enhancements or changes to the system.
   • Ensure regular system upgrades.
   • Evaluate external planning methodologies for continuous improvement.

3. User Support:

   • Train super users and manage logs.
   • Build relationships with stakeholders including Pepkor IT Planning Managers and Teams and Business Analysts.

Knowledge Skills and Qualifications: Essential:

• Working product knowledge on ToolsGroup Just Enough.
• Writing and interpreting SQL Scripts.
• Ability to read and understand code.
• Read and understand logs and error messages.
• Write Technical Documentation.

Preferred:

• Understanding of retail business processes.
• Knowledge and understanding of planning practices.

Qualifications: Essential:

• Grade 12 Certificate/Matric.

Preferred:

• Degree or relevant Business Information Systems qualification or
• National IT Diploma.

Experience: Essential:

• Structured programming (2 years).
• SQL programming and scripting (2 years).
• ERP MMS or other Planning System Management and Configuration (1 year).
• IT within a Retail environment (1 year).

Preferred:

• Implementation or support of a Planning System.
• Providing user support.
• Analyzing business processes
