Senior Java Developer

Job Description/ Responsibilities:
Java / Spring / Spring Boot/Microservices
Web Services REST / SOAP
Good working knowledge with Unix / Linux OS
Experience with databases (Oracle / SQL / MY SQL).
Preferable : Exposure/working knowledge of financial system integration/development
Should have developed systems of medium and high complexity.
Proficiency with Git or another version control system as required
Undergraduate Degree or Technical Certificate.
10 years of relevant experience with Java J2EE objectoriented design and related skills.
GIT DevOps Continuous Integration and TestDriven Methodologies
Deliver effective and efficient solutions by meeting milestones and ensuring project deliverables are on time and adhere to the corporate quality and security standards.
Participate in complex applications and systems development
Aim for defectfree programming create and maintain quality code provide support during testing cycles and postproduction deployment engage in peer code reviews to address standards compliance reusability and ease of maintenance.
Develop a process to identify and resolve any technical issues and facilitate stakeholder communication.
Configure and develop custom components with technology partners (analysts developers designers etc.) and suggest feature enhancements to meet requirements and goals.
Proactively put forward ideas that speak to project objectives (e.g. development testing solutions and tools) and look for opportunities that enable process improvement.
Respect TDs technology delivery practices and standards project management disciplines business technology architecture and risk and production capacity this includes thorough project requirements documentation scope estimations cost analysis and status updates.
Provide technical support to promptly resolve escalated incidents/outages.
Knowledge of Agile and SDLC/PMLC processes is preferred
