Hardware Engineer

• Engage in activities for hardware design and product development including system architecture circuit analysis components selection BOM maintenance schematic capture and PCB layout to meet all physical and electrical requirements.
• Understand existing designs and improve upon them based on new product requirements and component availability.
• Validate design for high reliability performance and robustness and conduct all required functional and compliance testing.
• Provide support to the embedded firmware and software team to help build highquality software.
• Prepare bench and system test strategies for serial production of units.

• Bachelors degree or higher in Electrical Engineering Electronic Engineering Computer Engineering or a related field
• 3 years of experience as an Embedded Hardware Engineer
• Proficient in requirement gathering schematic design PCB design DFM and debugging for complex products
• Experience with microprocessors/microcontrollers (eg STM32) sensors power supplies and firmware development
• Understanding of communication protocols such as SPI I2C CAN and LoRa
• Familiarity with electrical design considerations such as highspeed signal routing and EMI/EMC as well as knowledge on shielding concepts.
• Strong documentation skills including the ability to create clear and comprehensive design documents schematics and bills of materials (BOMs)

• Experience in performing simulation/analysis in PSpice/LTSpice.
• Proficient in C/C
• Familiarity with embedded development tools such as Eclipse Git and JTAG debuggers
• Experience in developing and testing electronics hardware and software right from paper to prototype (end to end understanding of project lifecycle)

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Excellent problemsolving skills and the ability to analyse and resolve PCB design issues.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills (ability to work in teams)
• Ability to stay updated with industry trends emerging technologies and best practices in hardware design
