Data Engineer

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Data Engineer to lead our data engineering initiatives enhancing our data infrastructure analytics and reporting capabilities. The ideal candidate will bring a passion for technology a deep understanding of data architectures and a track record of developing and deploying comprehensive data solutions in complex environments.

• Design build and maintain scalable and robust data pipelines to support advanced analytics and data reporting.
• Develop and optimize data models and database designs for OLTP and OLAP systems ensuring high performance and availability.
• Implement and manage data warehousing solutions with a focus on Amazon Redshift to meet evolving business requirements.
• Create complex dashboards and reports using tools like Power BI and SSRS providing actionable insights to business stakeholders.
• Write advanced SQL PL/SQL stored procedures functions and scripts for data manipulation integration and analytics.
• Ensure data quality and integrity through effective data management practices and implement strategies for data acquisition storage and retrieval.
• Collaborate with crossfunctional teams in agile environments to define data requirements deliverables and timelines.
• Lead the adoption of cloud computing services particularly AWS to enhance data infrastructure and analytics capabilities.
• Provide technical leadership and mentorship to junior data engineers and team members.

• Bachelors degree in Engineering Computer Science or related field. Masters degree preferred.
• Over 11 years of professional experience in data engineering business intelligence and software development.
• Proficient in SQL PL/SQL TSQL and shell scripting with a strong foundation in database concepts and normalization techniques.
• Extensive experience with AWS services particularly EC2 S3 RDS IAM CloudWatch EBS Redshift and CloudFront.
• Expertise in data warehousing solutions ETL processes and BI tools such as Power BI and SSRS.
• Strong knowledge of Oracle (10g 11g 19c) MS SQL Server PostgreSQL and NoSQL databases.
• Familiarity with web technologies IIS and version control tools like Git and Visual SourceSafe.
• Proficient in agile methodologies with excellent analytical problemsolving and communication skills.
