Accountant mfd - NativeFluent Japanese speaker

A well established chemical pharmaceutical and life science based in Dsseldorf seeking to expand their EU business.

Tasks

• Accounts receivable accounts payable financial and asset accounting
• Preparation of weekly and monthly reports for the head office in Japan and annual financial statements in accordance with HGB (German accounting standards)
• Handling all financial transactions
• Collaboration with financial and tax auditors providing information and supporting documentation
• Preparation of monthly VAT returns and other mandatory reporting including submissions

Requirements

• Completed commercial apprenticeship/study or equivalent
• First relevant working experience in an Accounting role
• Native or fluent Japanese as well as good to fluent German and English language skills
• ERP system knowledge
