Supervisor

We are currently recruiting for a Supervisor for one of the most dynamic and exciting leisure venues in Doha. West Bay beach, under the management of Discover Qatar, comprises 3 absolute beachfront fully licensed venues. • Doha Sands, an exclusive and private beach club for in house guests staying at participating West Bay hotels • The Bistro; a fully licensed restaurant, opens from 7am until midnight with a capacity of 200, serving light casual meals and also catering for special events, movie and sports event screenings and private groups. • B12 Beach Club, Qatar’s largest private beach club featuring the largest inflatable in the country, a range of international food and beverage outlets, general admission and VIP sections, a resident DJ and popular weekend brunches. You will be responsible to assist in the smooth running of WBB Operations. Ensure that all working methods are reviewed and best practices are achieved with an aim of business growth while delivering excellent guest service in a professional manner and by maintaining the highest standards of quality. Ensure all the processes and standards of Food & Beverage Service are followed and implemented to ensure smooth and efficient operations, understanding the scope of responsibility and line of reporting. Handle frequent team member and customer relations, address problem and delays to achieve operational excellence. Other key responsibilities are: Operational - Ensure all guest received positive, professional and personalized service to the highest standard to exceed the customer's expectations. Proactively engaging with the guest to prompt the existing and upcoming products by anticipating their needs. - Ensure strict compliance with all relevant Hygiene and Safety standards. Constantly review the service offering to ensure that all key quality standards are maintained by the Captain, Waiters & Runners. - Monitor and control the maintenance and sanitation of the various allocated outlet areas and equipment, to protect the assets, comply with regulations and ensure a quality service. - Work closely with the Assistant Outlet Manager and Captains to ensure correct stock levels are available from the Purchasing Department to assist the operational Food and Beverage and inventory based items. - Recommend and support in implementing product development strategies based on guest feedback. - Observe customer trends, demands and manage issues, comments and complaints with utmost professionalism and mindfulness to ensure a quality experience and enhance future sales prospects. - Ensure that the quality, service and operational standards are properly understood and followed throughout by the staff as per the policies and SOP's. - Conducting checks to ensure that the relevant procedures are followed by the staff during operations and collecting guest feedback on the products, staff, amenities etc for product and operational improvisation. - Maintain a professional atmosphere throughout by extending full cooperation and respect within the team and other teams. - Inspect and monitor that hygiene standards are maintained in the public, VIP areas, and at the beaches with an eye for detail. - Attends daily briefings and contributes to enable open communication within the team and management. - Perform other department duties related to his/her position as directed by the Head of the Department.
