Sr Engineer Civil

Role & responsibilities• Attends progress review meetings and co-ordination meetings to assist the Project Lead in resolving any site issues such as discrepancies in projects drawings.• Liaises with the Design Engineer on modifications required.• Reviews engineering details as and when required for the execution of works.• Ensure that the design engineers design intent is delivered by the contractor and is responsible for dealing with any on-site design problems that arise.• Addresses modifications desired by the Client in co-ordination with the Design Engineer.• Assists the Project Lead in review and selection of materials and equipment that are in compliance with approved material submittals. • Support the project lead to Issue engineering correspondences.• Highlights any violations to construction/ engineering related issues on site through issuance of NCRS. • Participates in the coordination and monitoring of snagging and project handover.• Provides support to RE to ensure projects run smoothly by providing expert knowledge and advice.• Plans, designs, executes/supervises and administers projects, applying knowledge of design, construction procedures, authority requirements, zoning and applicable codes and design and construction specifications.• Gives daily site reports and highlights issues that arise on site to the Project Lead. Expedition of approvals from the client if delaying the project.Preferred candidate profile• Bachelor in Civil Engineering• 15+ Years' experience after obtainment of Qualification - Construction Supervision experience
