Salary: up to 30k per year 30 Hour per week

I am recruiting for a Head of Group Exercisein Surrey at a Premium health Club. This is an incredibly exciting role for a company that prides itself in offering an outstanding group exercise timetable to its members. This is a job not to be missed especially for those of you who have a passion for fitness and love being a part of the group exercise experience.

As the Head of Group Exercise you will be responsible for the running of the clubs Group Exercise programme ensuring classes are well populated and constantly reviewing wants on offer to meet the needs of the members. You will also need to commit to teach some classes as a part of this role. You will be required to work a minimum of 20 hours per week on site which includes evenings and some weekends.

This is an exciting opportunity for someone with a passion for fitness to support and ensure productivity of the group exercise programme by developing the class range and service quality of the timetable. You will be involved in expanding the current offering of classes workshops and programmes but also play a key role in the lunching of new class concepts!

The site:

With 3 studios group exercise is the life blood of the club. As the Head of Group Exercise you will be accountable for the day to day running of the group exercise timetable and be accountable to the MD for proactively managing the teams performance setting targets and providing constructive feedback to both develop and support the group exercise team at the club.

We looking for someone to manage the standards of the instructors and timetable be able to work evenings and weekends as required and be present across the clubs operating hours. Getting to know the members and team of instructors is key in supporting reviewing and developing the best studio offering.

What are we looking for:

• Commercially strong with detailed knowledge of current trends to ensure the running of a current and popular timetable.
• Have a minimum ETM qualification. (Exercise To Music)
• Be able to lead by example deliver outstanding classes and have the flexibility to teach a wide range of freestyle classes.
• Have exemplary member service skills including building a strong rapport with members.
• Experienced working in the fitness industry and building a wide and varied timetable within a budget.
• Experienced managing a high performing team
• Experienced working in a premium facility and providing 5star service to members.
• Experienced with budgets and resource allocation.
• Confident and Outgoing we are looking for club ambassadors.

If you have experience managing Personal Trainers setting team targets and individual KPIs this role presents the opportunity for full time hours to also manage the excellent team of PTs as well as head up the Group Exercise offering.
