The Chief Financial Officer (CFO) will be responsible for overseeing the financial activities and operations of Downing Management. They will provide strategic financial guidance to the executive team and ensure the company's financial health and stability.

Job responsibilities include:

• Developing and implementing financial strategies goals and policies to support the company's overall objectives
• Managing and monitoring daytoday financial operations including budgeting forecasting cash flow management and financial reporting
• Providing financial analysis and recommendations to support key business decisions and improve profitability
• Overseeing the accounting function ensuring accuracy and compliance with relevant regulations
• Managing relationships with financial institutions auditors and other external stakeholders
• Identifying and implementing process improvements to enhance efficiency and effectiveness in financial operations

Essential Qualifications:

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in finance accounting or a related field
• CPA (Certified Public Accountant) or CMA (Certified Management Accountant) certification
• Proven experience in a senior financial management role
• Strong knowledge of financial reporting accounting principles and budgeting
• Excellent analytical and problemsolving skills
• Ability to communicate complex financial information effectively
• Proficient in financial software and MS Office suite

Desired Experience:

The ideal candidate will have:

• Experience in a similar role within the service industry
• Understanding of franchising and/or HVAC industry
• Experience with mergers and acquisitions
