Ass Manager Manager - Taxation

Job responsibilities:

1. 4 to 6 years experience on Direct and Indirect tax (TDS GST Profession Tax) matters with good knowledge on applicability of various taxes to the life insurance sector.
2. Ensuring statutory compliance in time and accurately.
3. Providing timely and reliable taxrelated advice to internal and external stakeholders.
4. Complying with all statutory/ tax audits and audits undertaken by Tax departments.
5. Drafting responses to notices/queries received from tax authorities within the agreed time frame
6. Manage all periodic TDS and Income tax compliances (Quarterly returns and Income Tax Returns etc.)
7. Assist in corporate tax returns and assist in tax assessments
8. Tax accounting reconciliations and Tax MIS Reporting.
9. Contribute to consistent implementation of the policies standards procedures and projects relating to taxation.
10. Identify areas of process improvements and potential gaps and implement the same and always ensure a robust tax administration process
11. Consult the reporting manager and take necessary approvals on all material matters or decision points
