Mechanical Technician

Day Shift Technician: • Take over from the night shift and review incidents during the previous shift for follow-up. • Check the status of all equipment and log any observations. • Address complaints and ensure proper communication with relevant personnel. • Follow up on planned preventive maintenance (PPM) schedules. • Coordinate with contractors for scheduled maintenance or ad hoc tasks. • Perform emergency support duties as needed. • Conduct pass-down meetings to update colleagues on equipment status and repair works. • Assist in equipment changeovers and monitor equipment parameters. • Summarize daily activities and hand over to night shift technicians. • Record daily work activities in the logbook. • Perform other duties as assigned by the supervisor. Accountabilities: • Work effectively with subcontractors. • Provide timely response and immediate action for repairs. • Update daily information in the in-house CAFM database. • Ensure quality standards are met. • Provide regular updates and feedback on repair status. • Adhere to work completion schedules. • Enforce safety measures for self and subcontractors.
