Chemical Engineer

Overview:

Key Responsibilities:

• Designing and implementing chemical processes
• Conducting research to develop new processes and materials
• Overseeing and optimizing production processes
• Supporting the development and implementation of new products
• Performing process simulations and analysis
• Ensuring compliance with environmental and safety regulations
• Collaborating with crossfunctional teams
• Identifying and solving processrelated problems
• Managing project timelines and budgets
• Conducting experiments and analyzing data
• Providing technical support to production teams
• Optimizing process efficiency and quality
• Developing and updating process documentation
• Participating in process hazard analysis
• Training and mentoring junior engineers

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelors degree in Chemical Engineering or related field
• Proven experience in chemical process design and optimization
• Proficiency in process simulation software (e.g. Aspen Plus HYSYS)
• Strong understanding of chemical reactions and thermodynamics
• Knowledge of environmental and safety regulations
• Excellent analytical and problemsolving skills
• Project management experience
• Ability to work effectively in crossfunctional teams
• Strong communication and presentation skills
• Experience with process scaleup and technology transfer
• Knowledge of statistical analysis and experimental design
• Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
• Familiarity with Six Sigma and lean manufacturing concepts
• Continuous learning and staying updated with industry trends
• Professional Engineer (PE) license is a plus
