Electrical Design Engineer

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Custom Design: Collaborate with clients to understand their specific requirements and design custom solutions for generator enclosures power distribution centers and fuel tanks.
• Electrical Design: Develop electrical designs and systems for power distribution within enclosures ensuring compliance with industry standards and regulations.
• Structural Design: Create structural designs for enclosures and tanks considering factors such as loadbearing capacity durability and safety.
• Material Selection: Select appropriate materials for construction taking into account factors like environmental conditions and client specifications.
• Cost Estimation: Prepare accurate cost estimates for proposed designs including materials labor and equipment.
• Project Management: Oversee the engineering phase of projects ensuring designs are executed according to plan and within budget.
• Quality Assurance: Implement quality control measures to ensure the final products meet our high standards for performance and reliability.
• Documentation: Create detailed engineering drawings specifications and documentation for manufacturing and construction teams.
• Regulatory Compliance: Stay up to date with industry regulations and codes ensuring designs adhere to safety and environmental standards.
• Client Collaboration: Maintain open communication with clients throughout the design process addressing any questions or concerns.

Qualifications

• Bachelors degree in engineering or a related field.
• Minimum of ten years of engineering experience preferably in the power generation or related industry.
• Strong background in electrical design and systems.
• Proficiency in computeraided design (AUTOCAD) software.
• Knowledge of structural analysis and materials selection.
• Project management skills and the ability to meet project deadlines.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
• Attention to detail and problemsolving abilities.
