Duties and Responsibilities:

The Developer will build deploy and test software applications and modules using automated test and deployment technologies and tools. Provide direction in identifying appropriate technical solutions (application and system level) that meets business objectives which include defining technical alternatives to derive the most costeffective solutions to meet client requirements. Duties and responsibilities include but are not limited to:

Work collaboratively with business analysts quality analysts and other developers to conceptualize software solutions.

Develop detailed program specifications as well as basic prototypes that align with business needs and objectives.

Write highquality source code to program complete applications within specified deadlines.

Integrate software components into a fully functional software system and merge solutions with the larger scale environment.

Periodically test the code and associated databases to ensure robustness usability and general reliability as well as debugging to identify and resolve issues.

Perform updates and upgrades to software to enhance efficiency and security.

Document development phases creating operational documentation and providing accurate information for user manuals.

Collaborate through remote collaboration tools to coordinate and conduct knowledge transfer sessions ensuring continuity and understanding across teams.

Requirements

Four (4) years of practical experience in application development within one or more specified technology stacks such as .Net C# Angular Drupal XML PHP Python SQL PL/SQL or Postgres.

One (1) year of proficiency in using remote collaboration tools like Microsoft Teams Skype SharePoint which facilitate virtual teamwork.

Demonstrated success in working with complex software development projects in a public sector environment is preferred.

Indepth knowledge and proven experience in the specified technology stacks listed with an emphasis on creating secure and reliable software applications.

Handson experience with software development and system administration.

Effective communication skills evidenced by the ability to articulate technical information clearly and succinctly.

Strong analytical and problemsolving capabilities.

Ability to quickly learn and adapt to new technologies and programming tools.

Experience in software development within a governmental or regulatory environment with an understanding of the unique challenges involved.

Knowledge of current and emerging IT trends and applications.

Minimum Education:

Bachelor s Degree in Computer Science Information Technology Software Engineering or a related field Required
