• Streaming! A lot of it. Mainly with Kafka but not only. Were helping companies to move to an eventbased world. Namely ingesting transforming and analyzing a lot of data.
• Developing backend applications using Java with different frameworks like Spring Boot and Quarkus.
• Beautiful looking frontends mainly with Angular and Grafana.
• We develop projects inhouse but also directly at our customers place.
• Were based in Bern very close to the train station.
• We value teamwork and open communication.
• We speak English in our company meetings.
• We do home office but meet at least once a week in the office (preferably Tuesdays).

Tasks

What you will do:

• You will technically lead projects.
• You will lead software architecture and design in customer projects.
• You will help our customers in their technical vision and inspire and enable them to find pragmatic solutions.
• You will coach young motivated software developers in their journey to become seniors.
• You will see the entrepreneurial vision of SPOUD and align your doings accordingly.

Requirements

What we are looking for:

• You love working together with customers and take responsibility for your and your teams work.
• You are a doer you are proactive and you anticipate technical and organizational issues because you know.
• Strong in software design and architecture.
• 2 years of relevant experience in software development and the ability to write clean code and willingness to learn new things.
• Knowhow in stateoftheart development frameworks tools and methods in your field of expertise.
• Professional communication with customers in both written and verbal forms in German and English You have experience with some of the following:
• Programming languages: Java Typescript Go
• Frameworks: Quarkus Spring Boot Angular
• Streaming technologies: Kafka and its ecosystem (Connect Streams ksqlDB) Flink RabbitMQ
• Cloud Platforms and Infrastructure: Kubernetes GCP Azure AWS. Note that this is explicitly not a list of musthaverequirements. Are you a strong backend developer with little frontend experience Wed still love to hear from you!
