Overview:
The Electronic Tech plays a crucial role in ensuring the functionality and maintenance of electronic systems and equipment. They are responsible for diagnosing repairing and maintaining electronic components as well as conducting tests and providing technical support.
Key Responsibilities:
Diagnose and repair electronic systems and equipment.
Test and troubleshoot electronic components.
Perform preventive maintenance on electronic systems.
Calibrate electronic equipment.
Document technical procedures and specifications.
Provide technical support for electronic systems.
Ensure compliance with safety regulations.
Conduct quality control inspections.
Install and configure electronic systems.
Collaborate with engineers and other technicians.
Order and maintain inventory of electronic components.
Evaluate and recommend new electronic technologies.
Train and mentor junior technicians.
Keep abreast of industry trends and advancements.
Required Qualifications:
Associate degree in Electronics or related field.
Certification in Electronic Technology.
Proven experience as an Electronic Technician.
Strong knowledge of electronic systems and components.
Proficiency in soldering and component testing.
Ability to read and interpret technical manuals and schematics.
Experience in equipment calibration and maintenance.
Knowledge of safety protocols and compliance.
Excellent troubleshooting and problemsolving skills.
Attention to detail and quality assurance.
Effective communication and teamwork abilities.
Strong organizational and time management skills.
Ability to work in a fastpaced and dynamic environment.
Adherence to industry standards and best practices.
Willingness to pursue ongoing professional development.
