Web Automation Test Engineer

Job Description:

Key Responsibilities:

• Web Automation:
• Develop and execute robust test cases for web applications using Java Python Selenium WebDriver or other JavaScriptbased automation tools.
• Demonstrate proficiency in web automation frameworks such as Cypress.

• API Automation:
• Sound knowledge of API automation tools such as RESTAssured Pytest and UniRest.
• Experience in testing REST and SOAP web services.
• Automation of backend services using suitable tools.

• Performance and Load Testing:
• Understanding of performance and load testing tools like Locust Gatling K6 (Any one).
• Ability to design execute and analyze performance and load tests.

• CI/CD Integration:
• Experience with CI/CD tools particularly Jenkins for seamless integration of automation tests into the development pipeline.

• System Landscape:
• Good understanding of the endtoend system landscape.
• Work collaboratively with crossfunctional teams to ensure comprehensive test coverage.

• Infrastructure Knowledge:
• Possess good infrastructure knowledge to troubleshoot and optimize test environments.

Qualifications and Skills:

• Bachelors degree in Computer Science Engineering or related field.
• 3 to 5 years of handson experience in web automation testing.
• Proficiency in at least one programming language (Java or Python).
• Strong expertise in Selenium WebDriver and familiarity with Cypress for web automation.
• Knowledge of API automation tools (RESTAssured Pytest UniRest).
• Understanding of performance and load testing tools (Locust Gatling K6).
• Familiarity with CI/CD tools especially Jenkins.
• Experience in testing web services (REST and SOAP).
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
