Role and Responsibilities

• Developing and implementing ageappropriate lesson plans and activities for children aged 15 months to 4 years
• Ensuring a safe and clean learning environment
• Observing and tracking childrens progress and behavior
• Communicating effectively with parents and providing regular updates on childrens development
• Supervising and supporting assistant teachers and aides
• Participating in staff meetings and professional development activities
• Following licensing regulations and maintaining accurate records
• Collaborating with the management team on curriculum planning and improvements
• Leading group activities and promoting social and emotional development
• Addressing any concerns or conflicts that arise among the children
• Conducting parentteacher conferences and maintaining open communication
• Supporting and guiding children through daily routines and transitions
• Staying updated on best practices in early childhood education
• Encouraging a love for learning and exploration through playbased activities
• Modeling positive behavior and teaching social skills

Candidate Qualifications

• Bachelors degree in Early Childhood Education or related field
• Stateissued teaching certification
• Proven experience in a childcare setting (24 years)
• Excellent knowledge of child development principles
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to maintain a patient and nurturing approach
• Demonstrated ability to manage a classroom and create a positive learning environment
• Understanding of health and safety regulations for young children
• First Aid and CPR certification
• Experience with lesson planning and curriculum development
• Ability to work effectively in a team environment
• Flexibility and adaptability in a fastpaced setting
• Passion for working with young children and their families
• Attention to detail and strong organizational skills
• Commitment to ongoing professional development
