Manual Test Engineer

Overview:

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and execute test cases based on software requirements
• Perform manual testing to identify software defects
• Document and report test results and defects
• Collaborate with crossfunctional teams to ensure comprehensive test coverage
• Conduct regression testing to validate software stability
• Analyze and troubleshoot technical issues
• Participate in test planning and strategy development
• Contribute to continuous improvement of testing processes
• Identify opportunities for automation testing
• Ensure adherence to quality assurance standards and best practices

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor s degree in Computer Science Engineering or related field
• Proven experience in manual software testing
• Strong understanding of software development lifecycle
• Proficiency in test case design and execution
• Ability to analyze complex systems and troubleshoot issues
• Excellent documentation and reporting skills
• Experience in defect tracking and management
• Knowledge of testing methodologies and best practices
• Strong problemsolving and analytical abilities
• Familiarity with testing tools and frameworks
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills
• Detailoriented with a focus on quality
• Ability to work in a fastpaced environment
• Certification in software testing is a plus
