Network Engineer

• Network Design and Implementation : Developing and implementing network configurations designing and deploying network architectures including local area networks (LANs) wide area networks (WANs) intranet and extranet.

• Troubleshooting and Optimization : Analyzing troubleshooting and resolving network issues. Continuously monitoring network performance identifying bottlenecks and implementing enhancements to improve reliability and speed.

• Security Management: Implementing and managing network security solutions. Ensuring network infrastructure is compliant with industry standards and protecting against unauthorized access or cyber threats.

• Collaboration and Support: Collaborating with IT staff management and external vendors to ensure network alignment with business goals. Providing technical support and guidance to users and team members.

• Hardware and Software Management: Installing configuring and maintaining network hardware like routers switches firewalls and managing network software.

• Documentation and Reporting: Maintaining comprehensive documentation of the network setup configuration changes and standard operating procedures. Preparing periodic performance and incident reports.

• Project Management: Leading networkrelated projects including budgeting scheduling and coordinating with different stakeholders.
• Professional Development: Keeping uptodate with new networking technologies and best practices. Acquiring relevant certifications and attending training and workshops.

• Bachelors degree in Computer Science Information Technology or related field.
• Relevant certifications (e.g. CCNA CCNP JNCIA).
• Proven experience in network design and implementation.
• Strong understanding of networking protocols (e.g. IPSEC HSRP BGP OSPF 802.11).
• Experience with network diagnostic monitoring and analysis tools.
• Solid understanding of network security principles.
• Excellent problemsolving skills.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
