App Security Engineering Intern

Overview:

Key Responsibilities:

• Participate in security architecture reviews and threat modeling.
• Conduct security assessments and penetration testing of applications.
• Assist in the implementation of secure coding practices.
• Monitor and analyze security alerts and events.
• Contribute to the development of security tools and automation.
• Assist in identifying and remediating security vulnerabilities.
• Support the implementation and maintenance of security controls.
• Conduct research on emerging security threats and technologies.
• Assist in incident response and forensic analysis.
• Participate in security awareness and training initiatives.

Required Qualifications:

• Pursuing a Bachelor s or Master s degree in Computer Science Information Security or related field.
• Strong understanding of cybersecurity principles and best practices.
• Knowledge of secure coding practices and common application security vulnerabilities.
• Experience with programming languages such as Java Python or C.
• Understanding of network protocols and architecture.
• Familiarity with web application technologies and frameworks.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
• Excellent problemsolving and analytical skills.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Interest in cybersecurity and a willingness to learn and develop new skills.
