About Rocket Learning
Rocket Learning is a high growth edtech nonprofit with the mission of catalyzing early childhood
education and community engagement in India. We work with the central government and state
governments to impact over 2.5 mn children. Established by a passionate founding group (IIT IIM
HBS Rochester MBBstartup alumni) Board and backed by reputed funders we are a diverse
team of passionate energetic and optimistic folks with a shared ambition of transforming India s
education system.
Overview: Rocket Learning s communications team is searching for a talented and creative individual to join as an Associate with 23 years of experience in video editing graphic design and social media content management. As a crucial member of our remote team you will be responsible for producing visually appealing and engaging video content designing graphics and managing our social media platforms. The ideal candidate will demonstrate proficiency in Adobe editing software Photoshop Canva Wavemaker and possess excellent communication skills.
Key Results:
1. Enhance Rocket Learnings internal and external communication through proactive and creative strategies
2. Boost audience engagement and recall through captivating storytelling
3. Provide impactful event design support for national and state interventions
4. Establish Rocket Learning as an expert in the ECCE and build a unique brand voice
Key Activities:
Collaborate on conceptualizing storyboarding and producing engaging video content that showcases Rocket Learnings work and impact.
Create visually interesting graphic designs for social media posts website banners advertisements newsletters and events.
Monitor and respond to social media comments messages and inquiries.
Stay uptodate with the latest trends and best practices in video editing graphic design and social media management.
Areas of responsibility:
1. Designing weekly social media post content managing and responding to comments on social media.
2. Creating 23 basic imagerich videos/animated GIFs per week.
3. Supporting property/paper/report design as needed.
4. Assisting with event collateral as required.
5. Continually innovating design and formats for sustained engagement.
6. Providing monthly Hootsuite analytical report support to the Digital Marketing Manager.
7. Maintaining the press office/media drive.

2. Strong collaboration communication and time management skills.
3. Ability to work independently selfmotivated and solutionoriented.
