Overview:

Key Responsibilities:

• Design implement and maintain network security measures including firewalls encryption and intrusion detection systems.
• Conduct regular security assessments and risk analysis to identify potential vulnerabilities.
• Monitor network traffic for any unusual activities and potential security breaches.
• Implement and manage VPNs for secure remote access.
• Develop and implement security policies procedures and standards for the organizations network.
• Respond to security incidents and conduct forensic investigations when necessary.
• Collaborate with crossfunctional teams to ensure security requirements are integrated into the network infrastructure.
• Stay updated with the latest security trends tools and technologies to recommend and implement security enhancements.
• Conduct security awareness training for employees to promote a culture of security best practices.
• Perform regular security audits and compliance checks to ensure adherence to industry standards and regulations.

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelors degree in Computer Science Information Technology or a related field.
• Professional certification such as CISSP CISM or CISA is highly preferred.
• Proven experience in network security including firewall administration and intrusion detection.
• Expertise in implementing and managing VPNs for secure remote access.
• Familiarity with risk assessment methodologies and tools.
• Strong understanding of encryption techniques and best practices.
• Knowledge of security standards and regulations such as ISO 27001 NIST and GDPR.
• Experience in conducting security assessments and penetration testing.
• Excellent problemsolving and analytical skills with a keen attention to detail.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with crossfunctional teams.
• Ability to stay current with emerging security threats and technologies.
