**Position Overview:**
The Primary ICT Teacher at our ICSE (Indian Certificate of Secondary Education) school plays a crucial role in fostering a positive and engaging learning environment for students in the primary grades. The ideal candidate should possess a strong background in information and communication technology (ICT) education be adept at integrating technology into the curriculum and have a passion for promoting digital literacy.
**Responsibilities:**
1. **Curriculum Development:**
Design and implement a dynamic and developmentally appropriate ICT curriculum for primary school students.
Align the curriculum with ICSE guidelines and standards ensuring a comprehensive coverage of key ICT concepts.
2. **Classroom Instruction:**
Deliver engaging and interactive lessons that incorporate a variety of teaching methods to accommodate different learning styles.
Integrate technology into daily lessons to enhance the learning experience and provide handson activities.
3. **Assessment and Evaluation:**
Develop and administer assessments to gauge students understanding of ICT concepts.
Provide timely and constructive feedback to students and communicate progress to parents through regular reports.
4. **Technology Integration:**
Stay abreast of advancements in educational technology and integrate relevant tools and resources into the curriculum.
Foster digital literacy skills including coding online research and responsible internet use.
5. **Collaboration:**
Collaborate with colleagues to ensure a cohesive and interdisciplinary approach to education.
Work closely with other primary teachers to integrate ICT across subjects and promote crosscurricular learning.

**Qualifications:**
Bachelors or Masters degree in Education with a focus on ICT or a related field.
