Overview:

Key Responsibilities:

• Conducting telephone or virtual counseling sessions with clients.
• Providing emotional support and guidance to individuals in distress.
• Assessing clients mental health needs and developing personalized treatment plans.
• Offering crisis intervention and suicide prevention services.
• Monitoring and documenting clients progress and interactions.
• Collaborating with other mental health professionals to ensure comprehensive care for clients.
• Implementing counseling techniques to facilitate coping and problemsolving skills.
• Referring clients to additional support services or resources when necessary.
• Maintaining confidentiality and adhering to ethical and legal standards.
• Participating in training and professional development opportunities to enhance counseling skills.

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelors degree in Psychology Counseling or a related field.
• Proven experience in counseling or mental health support roles.
• Strong understanding of mental health disorders and treatment approaches.
• Excellent communication and active listening skills.
• Empathy and emotional intelligence to connect with individuals in distress.
• Ability to remain calm and composed during crisis situations.
• Knowledge of telecounseling techniques and ethical guidelines.
• Certification in counseling or related field is a plus.
• Proficiency in using counseling software and telecommunication tools.
• Commitment to ongoing learning and professional development in the field of mental health.
