Resort Manager- Hospitality

Job overview

We are seeking an Experienced Resort Manager for Hospitality Industry. As a resort manager your job will include managing all aspects of a resort including lodging food and beverage management human resources housekeeping attractions and guest services. Youll be in charge of employees finances customer service promotions and quality control.

Job responsibilities:

• Maintain the daily operations of the resort and oversee the staff to provide prompt personalized service in the most efficient way to the guest.
• Ensure the running of each department takes place smoothly in the resort.
• Be a team player and communicate and work closely with other departments to provide the highest level of service.
• Train and develop your team members ensuring their professional level of service and personal growth.
• Resolving staff related issues like (Leave Salary etc)
• Perform weekly inspections and ensure quality controls are in place.
• Ensure all the rooms are up to the mark before the guest checkin.
• Restock customers needs and preferences and make recommendations.
• Greet the guest well and introduce them to the types of units available at the property amenities.
• Ensure that guests are satisfied with their experience at the resort through regular contact with customers.
• Maintain a file on all the petty cash that comes in.
• Maintain procedure for orientation training and development of all associates.
• Overseeing the financial operations of the resort such as revenue management and labor costs.
• Assigning rooms to guests based on availability or preferences as indicated in reservations.
• Ensure the safety and security of all the guests and staff at the resort.
• Strict and detailed maintenance of inventory food and beverage stocks kitchen stocks and housekeeping ancillaries.
• Coordinate with the Head of Department with any maintenance issues occurring at the Resort
• Other duties as may arise from time to time and as may be assigned to the employee.
• You may be asked to report to any of the group outlets as and when required by the management.

Job Requirements:

• Diploma/ Bachelors degree in Hospitality Management or related field or equivalent
• Proven experience of 5 years as a Resort Manager or in a similar role.
• Problemsolving and analytical thinking skills
• Written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to work flexible hours including weekends
• Excellent interpersonal communication skills
• Exceptional organization and leadership skills
• Dependable and reliable
