Automation Engineer - Machine Safety

We are seeking an experienced and skilled Automation Engineer with a focus on Machine Safety to join our consultancy.
This role focuses on collaborating with the rest of the automation team working onsite at one of our end clients.

What You Will Do:

• Design and implement machine safety solutions in compliance with current safety standards.
• Conduct risk assessments and hazard analyses on new and existing automation systems.
• Develop and maintain safetyrelated parts of control systems (SRP/CS).
• Collaborate with crossfunctional teams to ensure the integration of safety principles.

We are looking for candidates who are not only passionate about machine safety but also thrive in a collaborative environment. You should be proactive with the ability to manage your tasks efficiently. Crucially you need to be willing to relocate to the north of Sweden to work onsite in Skellefte.

Required Skills and Experience:

• Bachelors degree in Electrical Engineering Mechanical Engineering Safety Engineering or related field.
• Minimum of 3 years experience in automation engineering with a focus on machine safety.
• Strong knowledge of safety standards such as ISO 13849 IEC 62061 and ISO 12100.
• Experience with safety control systems and safety software tools.
• Excellent problemsolving skills and the ability to work independently.
• Effective communication and collaboration abilities.
