Are you looking for a challenging and rewarding role in financial accounting Our client a renowned multinational organization is seeking a Financial Accounting Leader to oversee operations across several European entities including the UK Belgium and Germany.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead Month End Close deliverables and ARM reconciliations with an upcoming focus on the UK site.
• Manage statutory tax and VAT reporting requirements especially in Belgium requiring expertise in Belgium GAAP.
• Facilitate both internal and external audits ensuring SOx compliance and adherence to general accounting practices.
• Collaborate in the transition of accounting activities during the establishment of new facilities and system setups.
• Oversee inventory management during ERP transitions including Oracle SaaS.
• Handle credit approvals customer setup processes and provide comprehensive local accounting support to business teams.

Your Role:

• Analyze record and report accounting transactions in a timely and accurate manner.
• Prepare and reconcile general ledger entries financial statements and other accounting reports.
• Respond to financial inquiries from various stakeholders including management and auditors.
• Regularly review and improve internal controls and accounting procedures.
• Maintain the utmost confidentiality of sensitive financial information.

Qualifications:

• Certification as a CPA CMA CA or equivalent is required.
• Fluency in Flemish is advantageous due to interactions with statutory partners.

Skills Required:

• Expertise in technical accounting assessment US GAAP and financial regulations.
• Strong capabilities in financial reporting business process and internal control analysis and financial analysis.
• Excellent skills in ensuring accountability effective communication complexity management talent development and work direction.
