Senior Python Developer Fintech Full-time

Company Overview: Join a dynamic and growing financial firm with a teamfocused environment. You will be focused on Ledger Systems which encompasses statement generation tariff management and account balancing.

Position Summary: As a Senior Python Developer (Fulltime) you will play a crucial role in migrating and independently managing a substantial modular project previously handled by an external team. You will be tasked with adapting existing logic investigating and resolving production issues and automating current processes. The role requires a high degree of autonomy and a proactive work ethic.

Tasks

Key Responsibilities:

1. Modify and adapt existing system logic to fit clientspecific needs.
2. Investigate and resolve anomalies in system behavior including script writing for production data correction.
3. Develop new methods of communication between internal services (e.g. Payment HUB and Ledger).
4. Enhance existing features such as implementing new reports.
5. Design and implement new functionalities such as the creation and management of prepaid cards.

Requirements

Technical Requirements:

• Proficient in Python; experience in a frameworkless environment is a plus.
• Familiarity with Oracle databases with a transition to AWS planned.
• Competence in developing and managing RestAPIs.
• Ability to handle complex modular projects and anticipate potential conflicts due to partially disabled modules.

Qualifications:

• Minimum 5 years of commercial experience.
• Independent and resultsdriven.
• Fluent in either Russian (preferable) or English.
• Located in the European time zone.
• Willingness to tackle challenging and unique technical tasks.
