Sr Python Developer Remote

We are looking for an experienced Senior Python Developer with a background in Music Royalties to join our dedicated team of professionals.

Role Overview:

The Senior Python Developer will play a crucial role in simplifying complex data issues for the Firms music data team. Responsibilities include assisting the Royalty Group in managing storing and accessing large volumes of music data designing and implementing ETL processes for various file types integrating standard data wrangling processes and developing cloud solutions. The candidate will also be involved in automating processes integrating thirdparty data through APIs and acting as a liaison between the Royalty Group and IT department.

Responsibilities:

1. Assist in managing storing and accessing large volumes of music data.
2. Design develop and implement ETL processes for various file types.
3. Integrate standard data wrangling processes into data ingestion.
4. Develop and implement cloud solutions for existing and future processes.
5. Utilize logging audit monitoring and code validation processes for efficiency measurement.
6. Develop automated processes for data ingestion consolidation normalization and analysis.
7. Integrate API functionality and data from 3rd party providers.
8. Act as a liaison between Royalty Group and IT department.
9. Recommend and build new data platforms/solutions.
10. Own algorithm development projects from start to end.
11. Set up and manage datarooms for clients and third parties.
12. Solve complex data problems and communicate complex ideas verbally and visually.
13. Other projects and duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

• Bachelors degree in relevant field.
• 7 years of experience with managing large datasets and programming.
• Indepth experience in ETL techniques.
• Expert knowledge in Python including Pandas ORM sqlalchemy OS logging urllib Numpy and Matplotlib.
• Solid experience with data analytic tools like PowerBI and Tableau.
• Expert fluency in SQLbased data manipulation.
• Advanced experience in multitier Architecture and associated technologies.
• Solid interpersonal skills and soft skills.
