Welcomes every patient and guest in a proper manner and introduces the facility with services offered.Creates excellent patient /guest experience through friendly and helpful attitude.Prepares the rooms for patients and guests and assists them to their designated rooms.Follows spa service traditions to ensure service standards and consistency are met.Helps guest /patient relax by giving massage treatments, provides massage according to patient’s /guest’s condition and demand.Designs specific sessions based on patients and guests individual needs.Performs all massage and body treatment as licensed to the highest level of professionalism.Physically evaluates the patient /guest to discover any painful areas of the body.Uses various massage techniques to manipulate muscles and soft tissue to treat chronic pain and injuries.Provides massages to patients and guests for a variety of lengths, explains various aspects of medical massage to them, advises them of suitable massages according to what they want, and recommends frequency.Massages bedridden patients or post-surgery patients to improve circulation.Works closely with doctors to treat patients who are affected by pain, illness, or injury.Ensures that patients receive the treatment they need; he/ she treats patients’ injuries by listening, answering questions, and relieving concerns.Provides effective and safe patient (and family) education to assist in recovery from injury and educates the guests with after care and the product to maintain.Maintains clean, sanitary, and well stocked treatment rooms.Responsible for preparation and timely execution of all appointments.Escorts patients to and from treatments.Participates in and attends all mandatory meetings and trainings.Provides goal orientated, evidence based and clinically reasoned treatment plans alone and in conjunction with an integrated team of physicians, nurses, and other Allied Health Professionals.Takes an active role within the development of the Rehabilitation services, delivering In-Service training and sharing knowledge and skills where appropriate.Manages own time and caseload and provides support to colleagues and direct reports to manage their caseload Education requirementsGraduate degree in massage therapy (Required).Current, valid, home country license to practise massage therapist (Overseas candidates)/ Current, valid, license to practise massage therapist in Qatar.ExperienceMinimum 2 years of experience as a Massage Therapist (Required
