• Provide individualized instruction and feedback on writing assignments and projects
  
• Help students to develop effective study habits and time management skills
  
• Assist students in understanding course materials and academic concepts
  
• Develop and maintain instructional materials and resources for students
  
• Collaborate with faculty and staff to ensure that tutoring services are aligned with academic programs and goals
  
• Maintain accurate records of tutoring sessions and student progress
  
• Attend training and professional development sessions as required

Requirements

• Bachelors or advanced degree in English, Writing, or related field
  
• Demonstrated expertise in academic writing and research methods
  
• Experience tutoring or teaching writing at the college level
  
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  
• Commitment to academic excellence and student success
