Who are we looking for:

We are looking for a talented driven sustainabilityminded Field Technical Engineer to join our quickly growing North America team. The role is fulltime homebased and requires constant travel within the North America region. This role will report to TIPA s VP / GM North America and will be managed and receive professional guidance by TIPA s CTO; Furthermore the role will work closely and will be part of TIPA s Global Technology team. TIPA s headquarters are based in Israel.

Job description and overview

The successful candidate will be responsible for providing prompt and effective technical support to our customers regarding their packaging equipment operations ensuring customer satisfaction and packaging performance.

Possesses a mechanical and electrical technical aptitude with the ability to troubleshoot most packaging machine issues. Occasionally requires management support to handle difficult issues.

Roles and responsibilities:

• Prioritize safety and act as a safety leader in all tasks and responsibilities.
• Understand and address customer requirements related to equipment products and issues.
• To Identify machinery and packaging film/bag problems and ensure that they are properly communicated to the appropriate staff representatives.
• Maintain accurate and timely reports on work activities and time utilization.
• Participating in field trials of new packaging materials.
• Participating in the commercial production of TIPA s products.
• Taking responsibility for scheduling own time and travel based on customer priority.
• Working on special projects as assigned.
• Establishing and maintaining positive relationships with customers sales personnel and internal staff.
• Submitting reports within 5 days completing expense reports within one month of business trips and providing weekly schedules within designated time frames.

Education and experience:

• Possesses a technical degree
• 5 years experience (machinery and materials) working with converters packaging and equipment suppliers in the flexible packaging industry
• Willing to travel 60% or more and holds a valid driver s license
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
