Warehousing Specialist

One of our esteemed clients in the Shipbuilding industry is currently seeking a Warehousing Specialist to be based in Dammam Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.

Job Overview:

As a Warehousing Specialist you will play a crucial role in managing and optimizing warehousing and logistics operations for shipbuilding and maritime projects. Your experience in materials management warehousing and your deep understanding of the maritime industry will be instrumental in ensuring efficient material handling and storage.

Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee all aspects of warehouse operations including receiving storing and distributing materials for shipbuilding projects.
• Manage and control inventory levels to ensure materials are available when needed while minimizing excess inventory.
• Implement quality control measures to ensure the condition and specifications of materials meet industry standards.
• Coordinate with logistics teams to ensure timely delivery of materials to project sites and return of unused materials to the warehouse.
• Ensure proper material handling including the use of equipment and safety measures to prevent damage or loss.
• Maintain accurate records of inventory including receipts issues and returns.
• Monitor warehousing costs and identify opportunities for cost reduction and efficiency.
• Ensure compliance with local and international regulations related to materials handling and environmental standards.

Qualifications:

• Bachelors degree in Materials Management Supply Chain Management or a related field.
• Proven experience as a Warehousing Specialist or in materials management within the shipbuilding or maritime industry.
• Proficiency in warehouse operations inventory management and quality control.
• Knowledge of materials and logistics in the shipbuilding sector.
• Strong analytical and problemsolving skills.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills
• Saudi Nationals are given first preference.
