One of our esteemed clients in the ship building industry is currently seeking a Chief Human Capital & Capability Building Officer to be based in Dammam Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.

Job Overview

Oversee the activities of the Human Capital & Capability Building at the organization whilst ensuring set policies procedures and strategies are set to enhance employee experience at the organization and attend to the resourcing needs of the organization and its subsidiaries.

Strategic Responsibilites

  • Align division goals processes and resource allocation with the organizational strategy while maintaining awareness of commercial and business objectives.
  • Ensure the accomplishment of organizational unit objectives by managing staff; planning and evaluating organizational unit activities.
  • Define objectives identifies and evaluates trends and options chooses a course of action and evaluates outcomes.
  • Accomplish financial objectives by forecasting requirements preparing an annual budget scheduling expenditures analyzing variances and initiating corrective actions.
  • Maintain quality service by enforcing quality and customer service standards analyzing and resolving quality and customer service problems and recommending system improvements.
  • Support with strategic problems resolution and subjective decision making.

Managerial Responsibilities

  • Supervise the entire work done by the team members and making sure it is completed on time without any delay.
  • Lead the team to complete tasks and meet goals through delegation of responsibilities and supervising business operations.
  • Set the vision and motivation of the team in order to achieve the sought objectives efficiently.
  • Set appropriate and achievable deadlines.
  • Track and report critical organizational unit performance results and escalate and negotiate business related issues to senior management.
  • Accomplish staff results by communicating job expectations planning monitoring and appraising job results.

Functional Responsibilities

  • Direct the design and implementation of the Human Capital strategy and plan inclusive of programs that are aligned to the longterm objectives of the organization.
  • Maintain efficient human capital management systems with accurate and uptodate data for operational and reporting purposes.
  • Oversee the organizations compensation philosophy in order to attract motivate and retain top performers.
  • Oversee the design and implementation of effective talent acquisition and work force planning strategies.
  • Enhance the organizations employee experience and promote a positive organizational culture and values through oversee the implementation of employee engagement surveys studies and related events and taking necessary corrective actions.
  • Oversee the development and implementation of Human Capital policies systems processes procedures and controls so that all relevant procedural/legislative requirements are fulfilled while delivering a quality costeffective service in a consistent manner.
  • Oversee the development and implementation of the learning training and development framework processes programs material and tools in order to ensure organizational and individual needs are identified and effectively met.
  • Oversee the planning and implementation of activities initiated by the Human Capital & Capability Building division to provide an attractive engaging and safe work environment to improve employee productivity and increase efficiency.
  • Maintain a strategic upskilling within the organization and its subsidiaries in alignment with best practices with the aim of developing employees and improving performance whilst achieving the sought objectives of the organizations and the subsidiaries.

Qualifications

  • Bachelors/Masters Degree in Management Human Resources or any other similar field.
  • 15 years in a related field including 10 years in a leadership role.
  • Saudi Nationals will be given first preference.
