Quality Engineer

• Support in developing implementing and coordinating the Integrated Management System (IMS) to meet or exceed IATF 16949:2016 certification requirements.
  
• Maintain enforce and apply Corporate Quality programs policies and procedures; including evaluating the precision and accuracy of production testing measurement and analytic equipment.
  
• Maintain and improve documentation to support production processes and ensure Quality of manufactured product.
  
• Maintain program related Quality Documentation (process flow chart PFMEA control plan).
  Perform required PPAP studies and documentation (i.e. dimensional weight studiesetc.)
  Provide information to support lessons learned efforts based on internal and customer related Quality issues.
  Provide training on processes procedures and standards defined in the Integrated Management System (IMS) as needed.
  Responsible for maintaining 5S in department and periodically participating with audit process.
  Support in preparations and participate in activities related to IATF16949 Customer and CCC/CCAP Audits as needed.
• Responsible for Customer Complaint management and activities relating to rootcause analysis corrective actions 8D s and tracking within the customer portals.
  
• Participate in Vendor Complaint management as needed.
  

Requirements

• Bachelor Degree in Engineering Quality Management Systems or equivalent (not required)
  
• At least 3 years of experience in Automotive Quality Management
  
• Basic knowledge of Quality Management Tools and Automotive Standards
  
• International experience (working with suppliers customers and coworkers from a variety of countries)
  
• Experience with Quality Management Systems
  
• PPAPs and APQPS
